Microfinance Industry Information Exchange meeting on Tier 4 Regulation and Challenges of Transformation PDF  | Print |  E-mail

AMFIU has organized a microfinance Industry Information Exchange meeting to focus on the recently passed regulation principles for Tier 4 institutions and the opportunities and challenges of transformation. This meeting will take place on 30th August 2013 at Fairway Hotel.

During the last AMFIU conference, the Minister of Finance Hon. Maria Kiwanuka announced during that cabinet had passed the regulation principles for Tier 4 institutions.  What does this mean to the microfinance sector? Secondly since the MDI act 2003 was enacted, there are few institutions that have transformed. What are the opportunities and challenges of transformation? As microfinance stakeholders, these are pertinent issues that need to be discussed broadly.

It is against this background that AMFIU has organized a microfinance industry Information exchange meeting on Friday 30th August 2013 at Fairway Hotel to further discuss the above issues.

This letter therefore serves to invite you to participate in this half day meeting on Friday 30th August 2013 at Fairway Hotel starting at 2:00PM.

There will be a networking cocktail after the meeting.

Participation is through registeration on email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 0312 265540 by Thursday 29-08-2013
