AMFIU lobbies government at various levels to influence it in the development of an appropriate policy framework for microfinance practitioners. This is done based on researched data. The MDI Act (2003) for example was a result of AMFIU\u2019s lobbying efforts. Recently, AMFIU actively participated developing the regulatory framework for tier 4 institutions.<\/p>\n
