The Association of Microfinance Institutions Uganda (AMFIU) in partnership with Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Care International Uganda, and MUBS organised a National Microfinance and Savings GroupsConference on 29th – 30th November, 2022 at Hotel Africana, Kampala. The event brought  together key stakeholders in the microfinance sector namely; Financial Institutions, Government and Central Bank, Mobile Network companies, Social Investors, Academicians and Development partners among others. The theme for conference was ‘Drivers to Sustainable Microfinance and Savings Groups'

The conference is attract over 300 participants within Uganda and beyond. It will offered an opportunity to share knowledge and experience on how ESG and digitization can help the microfinance sector steer through these turbulent times using case studies, experience sharing, trend analysis and discussion on emerging sound practices.
